Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Spectre Commerce LLC, doing business as Cozzle (“Cozzle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://cozzle.co, make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us. We have written it in plain English, because a privacy policy should be as easy to settle into as everything else we make.

The Short Version

  • We collect the information we need to take your order, ship it, and stay in touch.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • We use cookies and advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok, Google) to understand our visitors and show relevant ads. You control these through our consent banner.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, and you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time.
  • We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out.
  • Questions? Email [email protected].

Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Order details: your name, shipping address, email address, phone number, and the items you purchase.
  • Account details: if you create an account, your login email and order history.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through our contact form.
  • Marketing sign-ups: your email address if you join our newsletter or claim a sign-up offer.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files that remember your cart, your preferences, and your consent choices.
  • Advertising and analytics data: with your consent, pixels and tags from our advertising and analytics partners collect information about your visit (such as pages viewed, items added to cart, and purchases) to measure and improve our marketing.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. We never receive or store your full card number.

How We Use Your Information

  • To process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and to send order and shipping confirmations.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
  • To send marketing emails if you have signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email).
  • To advertise our products and measure how well our ads perform.
  • To understand how our site is used so we can improve it.
  • To prevent fraud, keep the site secure, and meet our legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements).

Who We Share Information With

We share information with a small set of service providers who help us run the store. They are only permitted to use your information to provide their services to us. They include:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Klaviyo — email marketing and abandoned-cart reminders.
  • Meta and TikTok — advertising and ad-measurement pixels and related server-side events.
  • Google — analytics and advertising services.
  • Cloudflare — site security, performance, and network services.
  • Our website hosting provider — operating the servers the site runs on.
  • Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners — delivering your order.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, sharing information with advertising partners like Meta, TikTok, and Google may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law and similar state privacy laws. You have the right to opt out of this, and we make that easy — see “Your Privacy Rights” below.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer (such as a merger or sale of the company).

Cookies and Our Consent Banner

When you first visit our site, a consent banner lets you choose which non-essential cookies and tracking technologies you are comfortable with. Advertising and analytics pixels only fire according to the choices you make there. Essential cookies — the ones that keep your cart working and the site secure — are always on, because the store cannot function without them.

You can change your choices at any time using the cookie settings link in our site footer.

Your Privacy Rights

If you live in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. Residents of a growing number of other states have similar rights under their own privacy laws. We extend these rights to all of our customers, wherever you live:

  • Right to know and access: ask us what personal information we have collected about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Right to correct: ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to delete: ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, we must keep records of completed transactions for tax purposes).
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing: tell us not to sell or share your personal information, including sharing for targeted advertising.
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will never penalize you or treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, you can do either of the following:

  • Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our site footer, which opens the consent banner. Declining advertising cookies there stops the advertising pixels that sale-or-share applies to.
  • Email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us you want to opt out.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If your browser or browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser, automatically and without any extra steps from you.

How to make a request

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to exercise. We may need to verify your identity (usually by confirming details about your account or a recent order) before acting on a request. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy: order records for as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes; account information for as long as your account is active; and marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.

Children

Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not direct our site to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the entire site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information as carefully as we would want ours protected.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
